Harold Mahoney III, 39

CAMDEN-WYOMING -- Harold Wyman Mahoney III, age 39, of Camden-Wyoming, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was born Sept. 15, 1969, in Phoenix, Ariz., son of the late Debra K. (Pharis) Young, who passed on Oct. 4, 2008, and Harold Wyman Mahoney II. Mr. Mahoney was a chef who most recently was employed at the Betsy Ross Restaurant and at Bernie's Junction, both in Harrington. He is survived by his daughter, Kristy Lee Mahoney of Lincoln, N.H.; two sons, Derrick Mahoney of Lincoln, N.H., and Jeremy Mahoney of Harrington; a sister, Jammie Dougherty-Hall of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a brother, Raymond Mahoney of Goodyear, Ariz.; his grandmother, Katharine Cowan Ybarra of Peoria, Ariz.; his grandfather, Ray Pharis of Texas; and his girlfriend, Tara Kemp. Memorial services will be today Jan. 5, at 2 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville, where friends may call beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the funeral home to assist in funeral expenses.
