MILTON - Harold C. Wyatt Sr., of Milton, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Beebe Medical Center. He was 83. Harold was born in Milton, the son of the late John Boone and Annie Steele Wyatt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War and received 3 bronze stars. He worked for the A.P Croll, as an equipment operator, Del D.O.T., Draper Cannery and the Town of Georgetown in the maintenance dept. for 11 years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and the outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Harold Wyatt, Jr., infant son, Melvin Wyatt; and 15 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Leona Courtney Wyatt; nine children, caretaker of 3 years, Debbie Givens, Laverna M. Bush, Bonnie Lee Porter, Harold C. Wyatt, Jr., Dennis B. Wyatt, Thomas D. Wyatt, Carol A. Wyatt, Kelvin J. Wyatt, and Amy Jo Wyatt; 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
