WILMINGTON — Habitat homeowner Diane Berbick will share her story at Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County’s 2021 Breakfast at the DuPont Country Club on June 3.
Originally from Jersey City, Ms. Berbick, a mother of three, first moved to Delaware over 15 years ago.
She moved frequently for several years and even faced homelessness before applying to Habitat NCC’s homeownership program. She attributes her family finding an affordable home to Habitat NCC and her faith.
Habitat for Humanity of NCC’s 2021 Breakfast is an opportunity for attendees to hear from individuals like Ms. Berbick, who have been impacted by the agency’s work in New Castle County over 35 years.
This year’s breakfast event will take place in-person and online. Those interested in celebrating the agency’s 35th anniversary are encouraged to register for the online portion. Registration is online.
