DOVER - Gordon Garnet Harris and was called home to be with the Lord on Dec. 17, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Harris; two children, Gordon Summers, and Sharnet Summers; two grandchildren, Gordon Jr. and Kah'lier Summers; his mother, Norma Jean Hayes; three sisters, Bridget Harris, Angelique Harris, Deidre Harris; one brother, Wesley Harris; a stepbrother, Homer Readores; stepmother, Salvadora Harris; and a special aunt, Sharlene Dial. Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 23, at the Union Missionary Baptist Church, 833 Lincoln St. Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Dover. Letters of condolences can be sent to www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
