Gladys Shockley Evans, 68

SELBYVILLE - Gladys Shockley Evans, passed away on Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, in her home after a long illness. She was 68. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Evans; four children and their spouses, Roy and Barbara Evans, Randall Evans, Teresa Cropper, and Tammy and George Mitchell. Gladys is also survived by eight grandchildren, Michael Evans, Matthew Evans, Jennifer Evans, Cherise Cropper, Danielle Adams, Randi Evans, Cassandra Evans and Brandon Mitchell; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, John and Robert Lathbury; and a sister, Doris Donovan. Service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Gladys' name, to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
