FREDERICA - Gladys L. Brock passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 79. Gladys was born on May 23, 1932, in Williamsburg, Ky., daughter of the late Lucian and Iva (Pemberton) Yaden. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to church, singing, fellowship, bowling, playing games, swimming and Bible study. She was well known for crafting covered hangers. Gladys was a member of the Dover AFB Chapel, choir, and the Living Word Tabernacle. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Brock. She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Ann Gray of Greensburg, Ind., Donna Jo Falcsik of Williamstown, W.Va. and Anita Gail Wix of Felton; a son, David Lewis Brock of Middletown; a brother, Mike Yaden of Pensacola, Fla.; four grandchildren, Dwayne Gray, Dawn Marie Blodgett, Aaron Gray, and Heather McDermott; and four great grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather two hours earlier.
