DOVER - Gilbert Winfield Sisson went home to touch the face of God and rejoin his wife Jacqueline on Feb. 12, 2012, after a long illness, surrounded by his family, in his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Louise Gratton Sisson in 2008. They were together since New Year's Eve, 1951. He is survived by his son, Gilbert J. Sisson, (Retired MSgt USAF) and wife Linda of Eureka, Mo.; three daughters, Ann Louise Patrick of Raleigh, N.C., Jacqueline Ann (Sisson) Felicetti and husband John Andrew of Elverson, Pa., and Joy Leah Sisson of Baltimore, Md.; six grandchildren, Lindsay and Landon Sisson of Missouri, Melissa Dekker of Tenn., Nicholas Patrick of Oklahoma, Brandy Edmonds of Virginia, and SSgt. Kellan Sisson, USAF of New York; and four great-grandchildren, Molly Walker and Samuel Dekker of Tennessee, Draydon Patrick of Oklahoma, and Bianca Edmonds of Virginia. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901; or American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way # 205 New Castle, DE 19720-1633.
