PRIMEHOOK BEACH - Geraldine Cecilia Johnson, 84, of Primehook Beach, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at Milford Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late John Marshall Rosa III and Geraldine Dorothy (Mattos) Rosa. She worked as the Secretary to the Wing Commander at the Dover Air Force Base for over 30 years. After retiring, she went to work for the State of Delaware for 15 years. She was a member of the National Association of Federal Employees, Chapter #1690, Rehoboth; National Association of Retired Credit Union People and a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Milford. She is survived by a son, John Wesley Johnson, Jr. of Dover; a daughter, Geraldine C. Young of Smyrna; two brothers, John Marshall Rosa, of Norfolk, Va., and Allen Rosa, of York, Pa.; two grandsons, Donald Keith Johnson and his wife Holly and Donald Wesley Johnson; a granddaughter, Julie Christine Morris and her husband Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Drake Alexander Johnson, Zoe Elizabeth Johnson, Ava Nicolette Morris, and Thomas Alistair Morris. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford. Burial will be in Slaughter Neck Cemetery, Argo's Corner, Milford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Casa San Francisco, 127 Broad St, Milton, DE 19968. Arr. by Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, DE.
