GEORGETOWN — Levi Maker, a third grader at Georgetown Elementary School, will participate in the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM in Philadelphia in June.
Levi was nominated to attend by his teacher. He is a member of the school’s Robotics Club and plays for the Henlopen Soccer Club. He aspires to be a police officer, YouTuber or professional gamer.
To benefit Levi’s program, a barbecue chicken fundraiser, sponsored by S.E.B. Enterprise, will be held at 11 a.m. April 28 at 36463 Country Club Road, Rehoboth Beach. Orders can be made by calling Shane Brittingham at 302-249-8714 or Alexus Duffy at 302-258-6364. Donations will also be accepted.
Pathways to STEM is one of the Envision by WorldStrides programs that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.
