DOVER - George W. Mackay, formerly of Woodcliff Lake, N.J., passed away in his home in Dover on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014. George was the son of Gertrude and George Mackay. In addition to his parents George is preceeded in death by his wife Catherine. He is survived by his children, George, Mary, and Michael, and also five grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Friday, Jan. 24th, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at The Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 South State Street, Dover, De 19901. Following the viewing, a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, 631 South State Street, Dover, DE 19901. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, located at 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11232, on Saturday, Jan. 25th at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded and Guest Book signed via www.ambruso.com
