George J. Kronberger Jr.

ELLENDALE - George J. Kronberger, Jr. passed away on Nov. 5, 2017 at Christiana Hospital. He was born to the late George J. Sr. and Barbara (Buttel) Kronberger.
George was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford, and the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph Council #3792. Born in Philadelphia, he was an avid fan of both the Phillies and the Eagles. He worked at Walmart for almost 15 years.
Along with his parents, George was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Sines. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his Delaware family, including his beloved wife, Susan (Dunn) Kronberger; his niece, Brandi; his great nieces and nephews, Michelle (Jake), Georgie (Chris), Larry, and Luke (Kendall); his great-great nieces and nephews, Natalia, Gabby, Nevaeh, Issy, Alona, Luke Jr., Larena, and Nova Lee, as well as his Pennsylvania cousins Patty, Barry and Gary (Tracy).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Ave., Milford on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at 11 a.m. A time of visitation will be held in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., prior to the mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests either Catholic Memorial Masses or donations in George's memory be made to the Medical Mission Sisters, 8400 Pine Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19111.
