George I. 'Sam' Sampson, 78 HARRINGTON - George I. "Sam" Sampson, of Harrington, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 12, 2010. He was 78. Survivors include, loving wife of 37 years, Barbara Sampson; daughters, Barbara J. Mauchly, Susan A. Vinciguerra, Dotty L. Marriner and husband Wayne, and Patty A. Baska; brother, Joseph Sampson; grandchildren, Christopher Vinciguerra, Angela Ringgold and husband Doug, Megan Marriner, and Kristina Lindquist; and great-grandchildren, Michael Cox Jr., Mason Ringgold, Roman Vinciguerra, Ashleigh Cox. Services were noon, Friday, July 16, 2010, at Melvin Funeral Home, Harrington. Burial was in the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro. The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association; www.donate.americanheart.org.
