George Forst, 96 MILTON - George Forst, passed away Monday, February 8, 2010, in the Delaware Hospice Center. He was 96. George was born in New York, son of the late Joseph F. and Matilda (Patrasic) Forst. He was a farmer and carpenter in the area for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Georgetown and was active in the church and local senior centers. In addition to his parents and siblings, George was preceded in death by his wife, Nora M. (Donovan) Forst. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy (Donald J.) LeCates of Bethel and Janet (Kuno) Sumpf of Milton; two grandchildren, Michael D. and Lisa (Millman) Justice and Steven E. and Courtney (Gregerson) Justice; and a great-granddaughter, Kenna Grace Justice. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2010, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Harbeson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963; or First Baptist Church of Georgetown, 601 N. Dupont Hwy., Georgetown, DE 19947.
