Genevieve B. Prettyman, 81 LEWES - Genevieve B. Prettyman, of Lewes, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in Beebe Medical Center. She was 81. Mrs. Prettyman was born on Feb. 19, 1927. daughter of the late Lucinda and Edward S. Wolfe. She was preceded in death in 1993 by her first husband of 43 years, Thomas H. Burton Jr. and by her second husband of 13 years, Kendal Prettyman on June 28, 2008. Mrs. Prettyman had volunteered at the Sussex Pregnancy Center and was a treasurer for the Marine Auxiliary. She was an active member of the Lewes Church of Christ at The Crossing. She was loved by all. Surviving are her children, Cheryl Skinner, Carol Dukes, Richard Burton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three step-children; eight step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Lewes Church of Christ at The Crossing, 15183 Coastal Highway, Milton, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will follow at the Epworth Methodist Cemetery, Rehoboth Beach. Please omit flowers. Contributions are suggested to the Lewes Church of Christ at The Crossing Building Fund, 15183 Coastal Highway, Milton, DE 19968. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Enterprises, Inc., Lewes, DE.
