Georgetown - Gene W. Taylor passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born in Fairfax County, Va. on March 14, 1948.
Gene was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was employed at Megee Plumbing and Heating. He loved his job and his co-workers.
In addition to his mother, Ann Wiltsey he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Taylor and a daughter, Shari Marie who died at birth.
Gene is survived by his sons, Scott (Christine) and Chris (Christina); grandchildren, Cori (Logan), Jake and Kaylee,; brother, Eddie Brouillette; many friends and best friend, Ed Davis; and his dog, Bella.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 East Market Street, Georgetown, where friends may call after 12 p.m.
Burial Services will be private.
