Garnet A. Lowry, 85

DELMAR -- Garnet A. Lowry, 85, of Delmar, passed away peacefully Saturday Sept. 20, 2008, at her home. Mrs. Lowry was the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Heddleston. She was a member of the Delmar Wesleyan Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. William M. Lowry, in 1990. She is survived by a stepson, William W. Lowry of Salisbury, Md.; two stepdaughters, Mary Frances Nelson of Salisbury and Marie Derrickson of Laurel; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew from Arkansas. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Tabernacle Cemetery, Clarksville. Friends and family may call Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Thatcher Street.
