FREDERICK SCHUMAN III

VIOLA - Frederick Henry Schuman III, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, in his daughter's home surrounded by his loving family. He was 101. Frederick was born on June 18, 1910, in Dorsey, Md., son of the late Alverta and Frederick Schuman II. He retired as a police officer from the City of Baltimore after 29 years. Frederick was a member of the FOP, Baltimore City Retired Police Association, Glen Burnie M.P. and a member of the Maryland Law Enforcement Officers, Inc. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olga Schuman in 1968; several sisters and a brother. Frederick is survived by a son, Eugene Schuman of Bridgeville; a daughter, Marjorie Bolles; three grandchildren, Brian Schuman of Fla., Deborah Baker of Thomasville, N.C., and Christopher Schuman of Dover; six great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Service will be 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where visitation will be two hours earlier. Burial will be 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at the Glen Haven Cemetery, Glen Burnie, Maryland. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
