DOVER - Frederick Q. Bramble Sr., of Dover, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, in Pinnacle Health Care Center, Smyrna . He was 80. Mr. Bramble was born May 29, 1928, in Bishops Head, Md., to Oneita E. (Dayton) and the late Charles T. Bramble. He worked as a meat manager for A&P Markets almost 44 years before retiring in 1990. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his mother, Oneita Bramble of Cambridge, Md.; son, Fred Jr. and daughter-in-law Nancy Bramble of Rehoboth Beach; grandsons, Jason Bramble of Alameda, Calif., and Zachary Bramble of Santa Rosa, Calif,; four brothers, Emerson and Charles Bramble of Cambridge, Md., Irvin Bramble of Hebron, Md., and Donald Bramble of Tulsa, Okla.; and sister, Peggy Bramble of Cambridge, Md. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in East New Market Cemetery, Rt. 16, East New Market, Md. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720 are appreciated. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
