FELTON - Frederick Albert Donkin-Xucla of Felton, passed away September 2, 2014 in Kingsland, Ga. He was 44. Frederick was born June 21, 1970 in Managua, Nicaragua to the late Frederick Donkin Mejicanos and Montserrat Koewing Xucla. He had graduated from Caesar Rodney High School and served in the United States Air Force. Frederick worked for Aero Ways, Inc. as a line servicemen. His hobby was collecting airplanes. He was a gentle and thoughtful nephew who remembered his aunts each and every holiday, and loved and watched over his surviving brother since the passing of their parents. Frederick was a certified Private Pilot by the Department of Transportation - Federal Aviation Administration since 2003. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Christine Trice Donkin. He is survived by his brother, Alexander J. Donkin of Newport News, Va.; aunts, Caroline Donkin and Mireya O'Neal Xucla, of Miami, Florida. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, September 19, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Home, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Cornerstone Church, 761 S. Little Creek Road, Dover, DE 19901.
