LINCOLN - Frank H. Vadakin Jr. passed away peacefully at Kent General on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016. Frank worked for Hitchens Tire Service for 25 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 2931 of Ellendale, American Legion Post 7 of Harrington, and the Milford Moose. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson; go fishing; and racing stock cars. He is survived by his wife, Helene Vadakin; his mother and step-father, Phyllis and Leslie Clayville; daughters, Sherry and Gina; brothers, Russell and Robert; five grandchildren; and his two loving dogs, Junior and Precious. A visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963 with a funeral service to begin at 7 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
