Frank Giles Mc Alexander

OCALA, Fla. - Frank Giles Mc Alexander of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Camden/Wyoming, Del. and Poughkeepsie N.Y., passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.
Mr. Mc Alexander was born Nov. 27, 1931 in Pleasant Plains, Ark. to the late Frank Mc Alexander and Elmeda Myree Alexander.
He served 43 years in both the United States Navy and Air Force. Mr. Mc Alexander was a computer operation specialist at IBM in New York for 26 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Air Force Association, AMC Museum Foundation Dover AFB, Air Force Sergeants Association, American Legion, Elks Club, and the VFW.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife June Mc Alexander of 52 years, in 2007.
He is survived by his children, Ellen Brod of Ocala, Fla., Elizabeth Brennan (Bill) of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Eileen Mc Alexander of Ocala, Fla., Elaine Slujtner (Frank) of Sykesville, Md., Evelyn Mc Alexander of Ocala, Fla. and Ed Walley (Peggy) of Hannibal, Mo.; grandchildren, Steven and Kevin Slujtner, John Mc Alexander, Rebecca Carpentier and Thomas Brennan.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 17, 2018 at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, 6486 Bay Road, Frederica, DE 19946.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to The Air Mobility Museum, 1301 Heritage Rd., Dover, DE 19902. Attention: John Taylor.
