DOVER - Francis Ray Thorpe, of Dover, passed away on April 14, 2012, at Kent General Hospital. He was the son of Georgia Prescott. Funeral services will be April 20, 6 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 291 Rose Bowl Road, Cheswold, where friends may call Thursday, April 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division Street, Dover. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. www.benniesmithfuneralhome.com
