Francis 'Frank' G. Ashton, 61
MAGNOLIA - Francis "Frank" G. Ashton, 61, died peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009. Frank attended Wilmington High School. He served in the Marines. He worked in the Wilmington area until moving to Magnolia in 1977. He worked at the Perdue Milford Plant until his illness in June 2008. He enjoyed working in his yard and bike riding in is spare time. He was predeceased by his father, Edward W. Ashton and his step-father, William I. Biddle. He is survived by his mother, Marian Biddle; one brother, Edward J. Ashton and wife Nancy of Middletown; four sisters, Mariann Powell and husband Keith of Felton, Kathleen Burgos and husband Joe of New Castle, Joan Marie Payes and husband Bill of Clayton, and Lorraine J. Amstutz-Stutzman and husband Jim of Lancaster, Pa.; and many nieces, nephew and friends. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the Heartland Hospice House, 5661 Ochletree Lane, Wilmington, DE 19808. Arrangements by Price Funeral Home, Harrington.
