Frances Ruth Clark

DOVER - Frances Ruth Clark, of Dover, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 73. Mrs. Clark was born Dec. 29, 1937, in Baltimore, Md., to the late Joseph V. Fertitta and Ruth Doell Fertitta. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and crafts. She loved all animals especially horses and dogs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, John R. Clark, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Clark and her spouse Elizabeth Shockley and Beth Anderson and her fiancé Lewis Rosebrooks, all of Dover; sister, Doris Krieger and her husband Benjamin of Salisbury, Md.; grandchildren, Steven Clark and Katherine Graden and her husband Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Connor Graden. The family would like to thank the staff of the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford for the comfort and care provided to Mrs. Clark during her final days. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice Center 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963, or Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
