FELTON - Frances M. Snyder, 67, of Felton, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Bay Health Center, Dover. She was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Wandell Moore and Sara E. Concordia Moore. Mrs. Snyder attended St. Elizabeth School in Wilmington. She helped the Democratic Party in Fund Raisers and at the Polls. She was a home maker in the earlier years, taking care of her children. In the later years, she was a bookkeeper and helped Tudor children in school. She attended Holy Cross Church in Dover, and loved to play Bingo. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert E. Snyder, Jr.; and a sister, Aggie Moore. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Robert E. Snyder, Sr.; and one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Snyder, both of whom will greatly miss her. Also her Miniature Horse "Twinkles." Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street Felton, where friends may call Thursday, Feb. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-9813.
