Frances Defibaugh Cook

DOVER - Frances Defibaugh Cook passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, at the Capitol Nursing Home. She was 87. She was born on Jan. 24, 1924, in Woodside, daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth (Stewart) Defibaugh. Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Cook. Frances is survived by her daughter, Pamela Crane; son-in-law, Peter Crane; grandson, Robert Crane; two sisters, Irene Kersey and Jean Griffith. Private services will be held at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, in her family plot. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 22 N. Union St., Smyrna, DE 19977. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
