Floyd Mohr

Floyd Mohr, 72 LINCOLN - Floyd Mohr, of Lincoln, suddenly passed away July 6, 2010, at home. Floyd was born in Delaware on Nov. 13, 1937. Floyd served in the United States Army, and was also a graduate of Milford High School in 1960. Floyd was employed at General Motors of Boxwood Road; following retirement he was employed at various jobs. He was currently employed at Milford Bowling Lanes. Floyd was very fun-loving and outgoing. He was a big fan of the Milford Athletic Department; especially football. Floyd loved spending time with family and friends. He loved bowling, where he was a league member for many years. He was especially proud of his 300 series. Floyd loved attending his class reunions where he enjoyed catching up with classmates. He also enjoyed gardening, especially his tulips. Floyd was looking forward to the arrival of his second great-grandchild. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Naomi Mohr. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Morris) Mohr; two daughters, Slyvia A. Mohr and Jeff of Florida, and Crystal Faith Mohr and fiancé Rango Millaway of Milford; three step daughters, Sherri Maneval of New Castle, Cindy Reynolds and husband Michael, Michelle Webb and husband Jeff; four grandchildren, Michael Reynolds and wife Jenna, Hunter Reynolds, Hilary Webb and Craig, Jeffrey Webb; and one great-grandson, Austin Curtis Webb, all of Ellendale; two sisters, Betty Irwin of Milford, Barbara Hoopes and husband Fran of Florida; six brothers, Dennis Mohr and Allen Mohr of Lincoln, Richard Mohr and wife Karen of Oceanview, William Mohr and wife Cheryl of New Castle, Larry Mohr and wife Sarah of Newark, and Jay Mohr of Wilmington; as well as many in laws, nieces, nephews, and very close friends. Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, July 10, 2010, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after noon. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Slaughter Neck Cemetery in Argos Corner, Milford. Casual attire is being requested.
