HARRINGTON - Our wonderful mother went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2015. She passed away at Christiana Hospital with her husband, Harold Hannum by her side. Flo was born on July 9, 1937 and had worked at several places like The Columbus Inn, IHOP, and the Dutch Pantry before retiring to W.Va. Granny and Harold moved back to Delaware from West Virginia in 2012. She loved doing arts and crafts projects and growing beautiful plants, at their home in Harrington, Del. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Long; daughter, Peggy Ratliff; son, John Woodward; and granddaughter, Kelsey Foote. Florence is survived by her loving husband, Harold Hannum. They have a large family and many friends. She is also survived by their children, Paul Woodward, Patty and John Forster, Crystal Hannum, Joanne and Otis Foote, Terry and John Duman, Bruce and Pam Woodward; brother, Mike Baker; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Granny will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends, including many nieces and nephews. We loved our Mother with all our hearts and we know she loved us the same way. A funeral service officiated by Reverend Embert will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 1, 2015 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, Del. 19963 where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Milford Community Cemetery.
