Florence Louise Wetsell-Lynch

ERIE COUNTY, PA. - Florence Louise Wetsell-Lynch, born in Erie County, Pa., on June 4, 1928 passed on Dec. 16, 2013 at the age of 85 of a brain tumor. She was lovingly surrounded by family at the time of her passing. Florence graduated from Centreville High School in 1946, married on Jan. 2, 1948, and helped her husband create Wil-Flo Farm. She enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, cooking, needlework, and being with her family. Florence was the daughter of Katherine Lucas Wetsell and Cecil Sumner Wetsell. She was preceded in death by one of her daughters, Margaret (Peggy) Cheryl Lynch-Morris. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Grant Lynch Jr.; and their children, Marjorie Diane Lynch Coyle (Georgetown, Del.), Carolyn Louise Lynch Spiezio and her husband Thomas Paul Spiezio (Dagsboro, Del.), and William Grant Lynch III and his wife Christi Pinder Lynch (Henderson, Md.). Florence is also survived by ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19th, 2013, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 South Second Street in Denton, MD., where friends may visit with the family from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening. The interment will be in the Greenmount Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Hillsboro, MD., followed by a gathering at the Denton Volunteer Fire Company at 400 S. Fifth Ave. in Denton. Flowers can be sent to Moore's Funeral Home in Denton, Maryland or donations can be made in honor of Florence Lynch to Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation Center, 231 South Washington Street, Millsboro, DE 19966 or St. Paul's Methodist Church, 251 St. Paul's Road, Ingleside, MD 21644.
