Felony drug arrest made in Seaford

SEAFORD — Chelsea Fenimore, 35, of Seaford, was arrested on drug dealing charges after she was contacted Delaware State Police Friday, authorities said.

Senior Cpl. spokesman Len DeMalto said that at approximately 9:40 a.m., detectives located Ms. Fenimore at the Dollar General. She was wanted for violating her probation, and she was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Ms. Fenimore’s backpack with searched and crack cocaine, methamphetamine and over $1,100 in suspected drug dealing proceeds were located, police said.

Probation and Parole officers went to Ms. Fenimore’s room at the Sunrise Motel at 22512 Sussex Highway, to conduct an administrative search. Police said methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine and suspected heroin were located.

Ms. Fenimore was charged with possession offenses including with intent to deliver a controlled substance in Tier 1, 2 and 3 quantities, controlled substance and drug paraphernalia (two counts). She was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $82,600 cash bond.
