Felicity Theresa Lavelle, 69 MILTON - Felicity Theresa Lavelle, beloved daughter, sister, cousin and counselor, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, in her Milton, Delaware home, surrounded by her loving family and caregivers. She was 69. Felicity was born in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of Bessie Cirelli Lavelle and the late John Lavelle. She was a Mediation Attorney and community activist in mediation work, and served as the volunteer coordinator for Compassionate Care Hospice. A spiritual person, Felicity embarked on a constant journey for spiritual growth and development. She had received a Doctorate of Divinity for Interfaith Ministries and was active member of Unitarian Universalists and the local Buddhist community. Her main goal was to bring peace to others. She had participated in many Native American Vision Quests and Sun Dances. A very active person, Felicity was also an aerobics instructor with Rehoboth Beach YMCA. Felicity is survived by her mother, Bessie (Cirelli) Lavelle; two brothers, Frank and John; three sisters, Sally, Lita and Maryann; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and her beloved dog, Morgan. Felicity's memory will be treasured by many whose lives she touched. The family extends a special thank you to the many friends and volunteers who accompanied Felicity on her journey to the next life. Memorial services will be privately scheduled by the family.
