MILFORD - Faye Stengel, age 101, of Milford, formerly of Denver, Colo., died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at the Delaware Hospice Center. Her husband, Charles Howard Stengel, preceded her in death. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Faye was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, of Milford. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Walch and her husband Vernon of Milford; five grandchildren, Vernon M. Walch of Milford, M. Tammy Phillips and husband Randall of Lincoln, Johnna and Scott Seal of Oxford, Pa., Andrew Walch and wife Michelle of Newark, and Keith Walch and wife Kerry of Wilmington; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marguerette Kenyon Kramer of Vail, Colo. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Interment will be Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at Kearney Cemetery, Kearney, Neb.
