F. Bryan Bailey Jr. SALISBURY, Md. - F. Bryan Bailey Jr., of Salisbury, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Born in Hampton, Va., he was a son of the late Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Franklin and Laura Bailey. Following graduation from Wesley College in Dover, Del., he was employed there for thirty-six years retiring as registrar in 1983. He had served the Methodist church as choir member, Sunday School teacher, lay delegate to the Peninsula Conference, chairman of the music committee and member of the Administrative Board. He had been a regular volunteer at Bethesda United Methodist Church, PRMC Medical Center and The Joseph House. A music enthusiast, he sang in the Chesapeake Chorale on its many foreign tours. He is survived by a brother, Ralph Bailey and his wife Wendy; and a nephew Jonathan Bailey and his wife Kelly, all of Salisbury. A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, at Bethesda United Methodist Church with a visitation one hour prior. Rev. Rob Townsend will officiate. Private Interment in Lakeside Methodist Church Cemetery in Dover, Del., will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made in memory of the deceased to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802 and or the Organ Fund of Bethesda United Methodist Church, 406 N. Division St., Salisbury, MD 21801.
