Evelyn M. Donovan Cade, 79 MILFORD - Evelyn M. Donovan Cade, of Milford, formerly of Greenwood, died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at the Hospice Center in Milford. She was 79. Evelyn was born on Aug. 27, 1930, in Frederica to the late Robert and Mary A. "Harris" Dononvan. She was a homemaker. Evelyn was a member of Todd's Chapel in Greenwood and was active in the United Methodist Women's Society. She enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Cade D. Wilkins and his companion Nikki Murray; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Wilkins and Tyler Griffith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence H. Cade in 2002; a sister, Catherine Simpler Blades; and a brother, John Donovan. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Sandy C. and Dave Wilkins of Milford; a sister and her husband, Helen and Bob Southard of Houston; a brother and his wife, Robert and Hilda Donovan of Houston; a brother-in-law and his wife, Edwin and Margaret Cade of Delmar; and two caregivers, Leona Bradley and Frances Williams. Funeral services were noon, Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 West Market St., Greenwood, where friends called one hour prior to service. Interment was in Lincoln Cemetery.
