Evelyn Louise Cordrey, 78 SALISBURY, Md. - Evelyn Louise Cordrey, 78, of Salisbury, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born Nov. 21, 1931, in Seaford, Del., she was the daughter of the late Clarance A. and Alice Fitzsimons Willis. She is survived by her children, Dennis Griffith of Seaford, Kathryn Kerley and Russell Griffith III, both of Georgetown, Del., and Benjamin Cordrey of Portland, Ore.; siblings: William Willis of Wilmington, Del., Florence James of Bridgeville, Del., Clarence Willis of Largo, Fla., Robert Willis of Baltimore, Md., Helen Harroll of Jarratt, Va., and Connie Cummings of Seaford, Del.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and 11 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Cordrey. Funeral services were Monday, April 12, 2010, at Holloway Funeral Home. Family and friends called Sunday, April 11, 2010, and on Monday one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Carol Carlson officiated. Interment was in Wicomico Memorial park in Salisbury.
