SUDLERSVILLE, Md. - Eva B. Comegys, 79 of Sudlersville, Md., died August 28, 2015 in Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. Eva was born on March 27, 1936, daughter of the late Luther and Mary Bottomley Pearson. For most of her life she lived in Millington where she raised her family. In 2008 she moved to Sudlersville. Eva was a life member of Millington VFW Post 652. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl 'Butch' Pearson; two sisters, Hope Blackwell and Esther Garvine; and two son-in-laws, William Pearson and Walter Wise. She is survived by her children, Robert Lee Comegys, Jr. (Libbie) of Ocala, Fla., Phyllis K. Pearson of Millington, Cheryl Wise of Ellerbe, N.C., Donna Pearson (George) of Sudlersville, Zachary Comegys (Tracy) of Ocala, Fla., Leroy Comegys (Linda) and Dorothy Comegys both of Sudlersville; three sisters, Joan Simpler of Millington, Karen Price of Millington and Mattie Atkinson of Clayton, Del.; two brothers, Roger Pearson of Clayton, Del., and Leroy Pearson, Jr. of Nottingham, Pa.; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, Md., where funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial in Asbury Cemetery, Millington, Md. Memorials may be offered to Community Fire Company of Millington, P.O.
