Eunice Mae Hawkins, 72

DOVER - Eunice Mae Hawkins, formally of Milford, died unexpectedly, but peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008. She was born Feb. 29, 1936 in Itta Bena, Miss., to the late Oddie and Lillie Mae Harris, and was united in marriage to the late Robert Hawkins. Eunice enjoyed being with her family, traveling, and playing bingo. She is survived by her six children, Vernola Harris, Barbara Smith, Richard, Tony, Rudolph (Beatrice), and Aretha Hawkins; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and a host of nieces and nephews Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Bethel AME Church, 205 N.W. 4th Street, Milford.
