Eugene Dennis Rankin

Eugene Dennis Rankin, 66 MILLINGTON, MD - Eugene Dennis Rankin, died Monday, November 16, 2009, in his home in Millington, Md. He was 66. Born July 22, 1943, the son of the late Verma Della Wilkerson and Raymond Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Emerson Sparks; and one sister, Fern Rogers. He is survived by four sons, Derrick Rogers and wife Sharon of New Castle, Eugene Rogers Jr. and wife Darcel of Newark, Darnell Hinson of New Castle, and Eugene Rankin Jr. of Wilmington; two sisters, Pearl Clark of Elkton, Md., and Florence Wright of Millington, Md.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and devoted friends, Arnold Murray and wife Charlotte, Charles Johnson and wife Lorraine, Darnell, and many more. Services will be 12 noon Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Graves Chapel U.A.M.E. Church, Millington, Md. Friends may call two hours prior. Interment will follow service in Graves Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements by Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington, Md.
