It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Etta Rebecca Lane Carlisle on October 24, 2024, surrounded by her family in Dover, DE. Etta was born on March 13, 1940, in Lenoir, North Carolina. She was an amazing wife and mother, a Homemaker that enjoyed Crafts, Family, Camping, the Beach, the Mountains and Jesus. She was a life-long member of the Methodist Church and most recently a member of the Cheswold Methodist Church. Family, friends and faith were the focus of her life.
She is survived by her brother Vernon Lane; husband Charles E. Carlisle, sons Charles E. Carlisle II (wife: Nancy)I and Chris Carlisle (wife: Clover); daughter Sherry Lambertson; grandchildren: Cameron Carlisle, Patrick Carlisle, Ocean Carlisle, Storm Carlisle, Brittney Lambertson, Jason Lambertson, Jennifer Halcro, and great-grandchildren: Laidon Bowman, Nevin Bowman, Ryker Carlisle, Charli Carlisle, Kira Coker, Kaine Lambertson, Teagan Lambertson, and Linny Halcro, Harlan Halcro.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, Delaware.
Memorials may be made to Samaritans Purse or a charity of your choosing.
