MILLSBORO - Esta Mae Smith passed away July 25, 2012, at Harrison Senior Living. Mrs. Smith was born March 23, 1923, to the late Robert and Mary Catherine Wharton. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her husband, Loran Leroy Smith; a son, Robert Leroy Smith; and a great- granddaughter, Kristina Miller. Esta is survived by a daughter, Dolores Taylor; sons and daughters-in-laws, Ronald and Gail Smith and N. Dean and Susan Smith; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Smith; grandchildren, Christopher and Melissa LeGates, Michelle and Paul Miller, Todd and Marie Smith, Erick and Mendi Smith, Sarah and Aaron Hunsinger; great-grandchildren, Kasandra LeGates, Joshua LeGates, Stephanie LeGates, Scott Dewey, Hannah and Travis Washburn, Katy and Ricky Harris, Carol Ann Smith, Luke Smith, Sommer Smith, Foster Smith, Brooke Hunsinger, Aubrey Hunsinger, Natalie Hunsinger; great- great-grandchildren, Madyson Washburn, Aaron Washburn, Daisy Harris, Carsen Servis, and Rylee Price; nephew and his wife, Gene and Jerrie Wharton. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at The River Church in Roxana, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Burial will be in Line Methodist Cemetery in Whitesville.
