Eric Joseph Kermit Freeman MAGNOLIA - Eric Joseph Kermit Freeman, of Magnolia, age 30, died on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2009. He was born in Wilmington, on March 24, 1979. He was electrician helper and did maintenance work. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, playing pool, video games, and being on the computer. Eric was never too shy to speak his mind. But most of all he loved his daughter. He is survived by his mother, Janet L. Freeman Yerkie and dad Edward A. Yerkie of Magnolia; his daughter, Ashlynn Elizabeth Freeman of Milford; a step brother, Chad and his wife Monica Yerkie of South Carolina; nephews, Chad D. Yerkie of South Carolina; aunts, Doris Thompson of Camden, Hassie and her husband Jack Payton Sr. of Frederica, Diane and her husband Harry Payton Sr. of Seaford; cousins, Jack and Cheryl Payton Jr. of Greenwood, Brian and Shannon Payton of Clayton, Heath and Ronda Payton of Hartly, Harry and Stacy Payton Jr. of Seaford, Mark and Karen Payton of Hurlock, Md., Michael and Cherity Payton of Illinois, and Craig and Tammy Humphrey of Marydel. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., today, Nov. 12, in the Trader Funeral Home Inc., 12 Lotus Street, Dover. Burial will take place at Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. Eric will be sadly missed.
