Emma Rosengren Cox, 76

HARTLY - Emma Rosengren Cox, 76, of Hartly, passed away Monday June 15, 2009, at Baltimore Shock Trauma Hospital, Baltimore, Md. She was born on Sept. 28, 1932, in Hartly, to the late Fritz and Emma Wharton Rosengren. Emma and her husband Howard were the joint owners of H & E Farm Equipment for 42 years and retired in 1996. After retiring, she enjoyed cooking, yard sales, and spending time with her family at their bayside home in Rock Hall, Md. She is survived by her husband, Howard Cox of Hartly; son, Jeff Cox of Hartly; daughter and her husband, Becky and Tom McVan of Phoenix, Md.; and grandsons, Ryan Cox, Conor McVan, Justin Cox. Remembrance Services will be noon Friday June 19, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to National Kidney Foundation of Maryland and Delmarva Chapter, 1107 Kennilworth Drive, Suite 202, Baltimore, MD 21204.
