Emma O. Wilson, 91 SMYRNA - Emma O. Wilson, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009, in Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital. She was 91. Mrs. Wilson was born November 18, 1917, in Dover, the daughter of the late Preston Urian and Bernice Marvel Warren. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Smyrna and the Leipsic Homemakers Club. Her hobbies included sewing and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Wilson in 1962; and a daughter, Janet Casula. She is survived by two daughters, Doris Hudson and her husband, Rick of Smyrna, and Dorothy Cole of Sudlersville, Md.; five grandchildren, Darryle and Dwayne Hudson, Brenda Hobson, Tina Gross and Maggie Courtney; 11 great-grandchildren, Khristey Lau, Briin and Justin Hudson, Rachel and Ricky Hudson, Samantha and Sydney Hobson, Savannah and Memphis Gross, and Cole and Alex Courtney; and a great-great-grandson, Andrew Lau. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2009, at the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 330, Smyrna, DE 19977.
