Emil Gallo Sr., 86 HARRINGTON - Emil Gallo Sr., of Harrington, died June 8, 2010, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 86. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmine and Theresa Gallo; daughter, Beverly G. Fitzgerald; granddaughter, Amanda L. Fitzgerald; grandson, Nicholas P. Fitzgerald; brothers, Ernest and Jesse Gallo; and sisters, Ida Luongo, Mildred Vockel, and Rose Gallo. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ruth L. Gallo; sons, Phillip R. Gallo, Michael L. Gallo, and Emil G. Gallo Jr.; daughter, Sylvia A. Propes; brothers, Carmine Gallo, and Anthony Gallo; 22 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2010, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Harrington. Interment will be in the Milford Community Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Melvin Funeral Home, Harrington.
