ELLENDALE - Elwood J. "Buddy" Clendaniel, 86, formerly of Ellendale, died on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at Milford Center. Buddy will be remembered as a gentle soul with a kind and caring heart who loved his family and friends deeply. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Edward J. and Sadie L. Clendaniel; sisters, Lourine Wilson, Florence Harmon, Grace Richards, Margaret Russell, and Evelyn Perry. He is survived by his sister, Ella Tucker of Milford and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton.
