Elsworth Rogers Elsworth Rogers departed this life on April 16, 2010 at the River Side Rehabilitation Institute in Newport News, Va . He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 35 years Mercie Rogers; and two children Tarshe and Kevon. Service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, April 24, 2010 at New Mount Zion Baptist Church with two hour viewing prior to service. All arrangements handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home.
