georgetown - Elsie P. Shipley passed away peacefully at Atlantic Shores Nursing Home in Millsboro. Mrs. Shipley was born in Oriskany, VA to the late Otho and Juanita Crawford. She was very active in the Cheer Center in Georgetown and was loved by everybody she met. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Shipley and sister, Betty Jo. She is survived by her daughter Jeanie and husband Rodney Baker; brother Jack Crawford and his wife Becky; sister Martha Smith; and grandson Brandon Baker and his girlfriend Sara Cramer. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:30 am in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, Georgetown, DE 19947, where friends may call after 10 am.
