Elsie Mae Zane Cooper

Elsie Mae Zane Cooper, 94 LEWES - Elsie Mae Zane Cooper, of Lewes, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis, Md. She was 94. She was born in Swedesboro, N.J., the daughter of the late William P. and Harriet McIlvain Zane. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and Capitol Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor John M. Cooper; and a sister, Doris Cooper. She is survived by her two sons, Larry C. Cooper of Millersville, Md., Kenneth W. Cooper of Schrewsbury, Pa.; three daughters, Janet Pisarek of Leechburg, Pa., Debbie Rubock of Pasadena, Md., and Betty Doggart of Auburn, Mass.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., today, Jan. 22, at Calvary Baptist Church, 318 S. Dupont Hwy, Georgetown, where visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton. Arrangement handled by Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
