Ellsworth S. Hohmann

DOVER - Ellsworth "Mickey" Hohmann, age 84, of Dover, died Sept. 29, 2011, at his residence. Born in Pearl River, N.Y., he was the son of the late Albert and Lillian Knapp Hohmann. He was a WW-II Navy Veteran and later established Halrick Press in Little Ferry, N.J. Prior to moving to Dover in 1998 he lived in Norwood, N.J. He had been a member of the Dover Modern Maturity Center and was involved in the American War Orphans Network. Mickey loved to travel with his wife and they both enjoyed Square Dancing. In his quieter moments he enjoyed woodworking. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered as a kind and gentle person who will be greatly missed by those lives he had touched. He is survived by his wife, Margaret C. Hohmann of Dover; two children, Paul Hohmann of Hasbrouck Heights, N.J., and Patricia Miltz of Virginia Beach, Va.; and four grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to services on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. in St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 425 N. DuPont Hwy., Dover, where a Gathering will follow. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, at the convenience of the family. Donations in his memory can be made to St. Andrews Lutheran Church or to your favorite charity.
