Ellen Louise Sapp

MILFORD - Ellen Louise Sapp passed away peacefully at Milford Center.
Mrs. Sapp was born in Milford, to the late Howard and Mildred (Heath) Argo. She completed two years of nurses training at Milford Memorial Hospital and later worked as a waitress at the Shawnee Country Club and Milford Hotel. Ellen was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Milford, as well as Calvary UM Women, the Milford VFW #6483, and Milford AARP #3134.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Sapp; and brothers, Clifford and Everett Argo.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Sapp of Milford, Donna Sapp of Harrington, and Douglas Sapp of Milford; siblings Gladys Argo, Ruth Ann Argo, Doris Clegg, Sallie Metzner, Donald Argo, Ronald Argo, and David Argo; four grandchildren, Jenna Reynolds, Alexa Sapp, Brandon Sapp, and Cory Sapp; two great-grandchildren, Emma Grace and Easton Reynolds.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Milford Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ellen's memory can be made to: Calvary UM Church, 301 SE Front St., Milford, DE 19963.
